EL SHEETS
The proper way to cut raw (not laminated) EL sheets.
This is the back of the EL sheet. It can be cut in any shape providing
a portion of the of the Bus (thick, double line running around the edge)
is kept. The bus is required to distribute power to the EL sheet.
Powering up EL sheets to make EL Lamps. The Flat EL lamp hookup is
very simple and can be broken down into six easy steps.
1 -cut the EL to desired size
2 -attach the Bus Bar
3 -laminate the EL
4 -use an Exacto knife to expose the copper Bus Bar
5 -solder the wires to the Copper Bus Bar
6 -Cover the connection with an adhesive vinyl tape, hot melt glue or
silicone.

sheet).B - Outer Bus (powers front of EL sheet). 1 - A small, cut section
